We know that prayer is a powerful tool. It is needed as a Christian in your personal walk with God. It is also very important to pray for others, intercession prayer. It’s amazing how many times the Bible mentions prayer. Jesus even showed us how to pray. If Jesus needed to pray then so do we.
Paul told Timothy…
I exhort therefore, that first of all, supplications, prayers, intercession, and giving of thanks, be made for all men. (1 Timothy 2:1, KJV)
That is exactly what I wish to do for you.
One of my favorite stories the in Old Testament is in 2 Chronicles 20. A great multitude was coming against Jehoshaphat to battle. It looked like all hope was lost. But, Jehoshaphat knew exactly what to do. He prayed. The Lord answered and said, “Be not afraid nor dismayed”. The Lord fought that battle for them and all they had to do was pray, believe, and obey.
Again, prayer is a powerful thing and it gives me great comfort to know others are praying for me. I want you to know, even though I don’t yet know you, I’m praying for you. I would love to pray more specifically. Even if it’s just a name and an unspoken request. We all go through valleys and we should always pray and encourage one another. Besides, if you are a child of God, we are going to spend eternity together. It would great to get to know you now. I will NOT give out any information of any kind to anybody.
